As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within our organization, you will play a vital role in a collaborative healthcare team focused on delivering comprehensive and empathetic care to our community. LPNs are empowered to operate within their full scope of practice, contributing to the design, execution, and assessment of care programs aimed at improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care delivery.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must possess a valid New York Nursing license; out-of-state applicants are welcome.
- Education: Completion of an accredited LPN program is required.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred; new hires may obtain this during the onboarding process.
Work Environment:
- Position based onsite.
- Minimal travel required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including keyboard use.
- Capability to lift and carry light loads (up to 40 lbs).
- Must be able to engage in prolonged periods of sitting, standing, or walking as necessary.
Compensation:
- Hourly wage ranges from $24.04 to $28.
