Job Summary

Caliber Collision Centers is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Auto Shop Assistant to join our team. As an Auto Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of our production area. This may include:

  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the production area, including sweeping floors, emptying waste cans, and disposing of unwanted parts.
  • Assisting in the cleaning of spray booths and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and stored.
  • Performing minor equipment and building maintenance/repairs as needed.
  • Maintaining the parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion.

Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber's insurance policy.
  • Nice to have, but not required: Previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification.
Abilities/Skills/Knowledge
  • Ability to do consistent physical activity - reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
  • Be able to understand instructions - written and verbal.
  • Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment.
