Responsibilities
  • Load and unload the dishwasher according to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the temperature of the dishwasher is within state and federal regulations.
  • Assist cooks in meal preparation as needed.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized storeroom.
  • Ensure a clean and neat kitchen environment.
  • Assist servers as needed by responding to residents' requests in a positive and customer-friendly manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality of residents' personal information and protect their rights.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks as needed.
  • Knowledge of MSDS sheets and guidelines for hazardous materials.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to read and follow directions and recipes.
Working Environment

The work environment is a fast-paced restaurant-style kitchen with heat, steam, and cold temperatures. The position requires standing for long periods, reaching, bending, and lifting.
