Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Armed Security Shift Supervisor to join our team at Allied Universal. As a Security Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of security officers and ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Security Officers: Manage a team of security officers, including hiring, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development, and support.
  • Ensure Client Site Security: Provide high-quality security services to protect people and property, and ensure compliance with client site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and employees, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Respond to Incidents: Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, using initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
  • Patrol Client Sites: Conduct regular and random patrols around client sites, including the business and perimeter, to ensure security and safety.
Requirements
  • Security Experience: 3+ years of shift supervisor security experience, with a valid Florida Security License (D License and G License).
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • Communication Skills: Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner.
  • Computer Skills: Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
