About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform minor surgeries as needed
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices to ensure the highest level of care
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York
  • Successful completion of ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
