Job Title: Transportation Analyst

At TOTO USA, we are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of our transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day correspondence with transportation-related partners, including JBHU, BullDawg Trucking, FedEx, UPS, and 3PL providers.
  • Review and resolve shipping discrepancies, including mis-delivered freight, discrepancy reports, and claims.
  • Manage and maintain the freight problems worksheet to ensure all issues are resolved and freight is delivered or claims are filed accordingly.
  • Monitor and maintain shipment status reports through various partners, including FedEx aging & exception reports, DHL late shipment & outbound status reports, and other related transportation reports.
  • Assist with OS&D issues, resolution, and claims mitigation efforts.
  • Monitor and record seal breaks & discrepancies using Dropbox.
  • Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives related to transportation, including document revisions of internal controls and procedures.
  • Assist with responses to transportation-related data inquiries from internal/external partners and customers.
  • Assist with parcel carrier interactions, set up new users, coordinate training as needed, provide invoice copies/cost of shipments, and monitor past due invoices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in the field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with US transportation regulations, US Export/Import Regulations, international business practices, and transportation laws is desirable.
  • Possess excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Must be a team player and self-starter; high bias toward action.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage projects, prioritize work, and handle complex tasks.
  • Significant computer experience including MS Office products and ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and a desire to consistently perform at the highest levels of competence.
