Job Summary

Elite Performance Staffing LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our maintenance department in all areas as needed, with a focus on preventative maintenance duties on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the PM Lead in preventative maintenance of assigned functions, ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment.
  • Manage and maintain the PM schedule for the entire fleet of Injection Molding Machines and Molding Support, adhering to established protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including filters, grease, breathers, servos, electrical panels, and other equipment-related duties.
  • Conduct general repairs, including mechanical, basic electrical, minor plumbing, and welding tasks, as needed.
  • Handle high-voltage electrical work, including 110, 120, 280, and 480 Volt AC systems.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Department to provide general support and ensure the efficient operation of production equipment.
  • Perform hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting, and repair molding machines, supporting equipment, and facility-related issues.
  • Install new assets, including electric, plumbing, and mechanical systems, as well as building and auxiliary equipment repairs.
  • Complete preventative maintenance of assigned functions, ensuring optimal equipment performance.
  • Maintain Assembly production equipment on a daily basis, ensuring they are running at peak performance.
  • Train and instruct operators on proper machine operation, based on Standard Work Procedure.
  • Communicate real-time status of Assembly operations with Team Leaders throughout the shift.
  • Record all tasks and issues during the shift on a production report via log book and IQMS reports.
  • Maintain machines and associate equipment in optimal condition, making necessary adjustments and repairs to ensure continuous production.
  • Responsible for knowing how to operate all machines and equipment, understanding their function and repair.
  • Responsible for identifying all different styles of caps, jars, and their codes (i.e., S, RS, RM, RMX).
  • Responsible for making tooling changes (size) within a reasonable amount of time.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, with a preference for Hydraulic and Electrical trade school education.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical/mechanical background, with 5+ years in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • 5+ years of working experience in facilities manufacturing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, with the ability to work flexible hours, overtime as needed, and share responsibilities with the On-Call System.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new techniques and concepts, with the ability to work well under pressure, demonstrate safe work habits, and follow detailed directions.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs on occasion or frequently, with Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus.
  • Experience using electric and hydraulic schematics, with proven troubleshooting abilities.
