Licensing Associate

*Our global hybrid working model, Flex Modes, combines the flexibility of remote work with the benefits of in-person collaboration, allowing for a balance of both environments as needed.
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Licensing Associate to assist the PlayStation Licensed Merchandise team throughout the entire lifecycle of deal proposals and ongoing management.
In this role, you will facilitate incoming deal proposals, manage licensing rights, and ensure precise royalty reporting and SKU reconciliation.
You will also maintain project tracking sheets, coordinate product requests, and schedule meetings.The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Deal Management:
Oversee the process of incoming deal proposals from negotiation to execution, ensuring seamless transitions and adherence to agreed terms.
Database Oversight:
Maintain and update the database of licensing rights granted to licensees, ensuring accuracy and current information.
Royalty Management:
Collaborate with licensees on royalty reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions while performing SKU reconciliation as necessary.
Project Coordination:
Organize and maintain the accuracy of project tracking sheets, product placement records, and sales reports to support licensing operations.
Forecasting and Reporting:
Assist the licensing team with forecasting and review royalty reports to ensure financial accuracy and consistency.
Product Coordination:
Organize and manage product requests with both internal and external stakeholders to streamline processes and ensure timely fulfillment.
Meeting Coordination:
Schedule and coordinate meetings for the licensing team, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
Additional Support:
Provide assistance to the licensing team with additional tasks and special projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Qualifications:
Experience: 6+ years of proven experience in licensing partnerships
Skills:
Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing databases and tracking information.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with project management or database software.
Team Collaboration:
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and provide support on various tasks and projects as needed.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical skills and ability to handle complex tasks with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field preferred.
