Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Vacuum Pump and Air Compressor Repair Technician to join our team at Medical Technology Associates LLC. As a key member of our medical gas services department, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of vacuum pumps and air compressors in healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Servicing MTA accounts for testing and certification of medical gas systems.
  • Maintenance, repair and installation of medical gas pipeline systems.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on various manufacturers' pumps and compressors.
  • Provide thorough and accurate trouble shooting and repair of medical vacuum pumps and air compressors (1.5-25HP).

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong mechanical aptitude with at least 2 years' experience in one or more of the following areas: electrical, industrial HVAC or plumbing with experience in pumps and compressors. Experience in the medical gas industry is desirable but not required. You will also need to commit to obtaining ASSE 6005 certification within 90-180 days from start of position and complete the Forms, Tools, & Requirements and Level 1 sections of the MTA Medical Gas Technician Training Record within the same timeframe. A basic understanding of Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is also necessary. We offer a competitive salary of $65,000-$85,000 per year based on experience, qualification, and certifications.
