Job Overview

Gainesville Mental Health Services seeks a skilled Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide essential mental health care services to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess client needs, developing personalized treatment plans to address their mental health concerns.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all clients and their families.
  • Cultivate effective relationships with clients, promoting trust and open communication to facilitate successful treatment outcomes.
  • Stay current with industry developments, attending training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • A master's degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution is required. Licensure in the designated field is also necessary.
  • Prior experience with completing DAs, treatment plans, and clinical case notes is highly valued.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
  • A comfort level working with diverse client populations and proficiency in Electronic Health Record systems are also desired.
