About the Role:

The Clinical Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing patient care on a daily operational basis in accordance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. This role will function within the standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines of the Organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hold self and others accountable for exhibiting each of the Mount Carmel Service Excellence Behavior Standards.
  • Create a caring and healing environment that keeps the patient and family at the center of care throughout their experience at Mount Carmel.
  • Identify, lead, and embrace change.
  • Supervise employees in their respective department/service area and partner with their supervisor to ensure 24-hour accountability.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with staff, other departments, and physicians.
  • Promote a Culture of Safety by adhering to policy, procedures, and plans that are in place to prevent workplace injury, violence, or adverse outcome to colleagues and patients.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from a school of nursing; BSN required.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
  • Minimum of two years' recent and relevant clinical experience required.
  • Effective Communication Skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care, including delegation to and supervision of other members of the patient care team.
