Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Network Specialist to join our team at Daytona State College. As a key member of our technology department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support for all college network switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and load balancers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide accurate network documentation and collaborate on the establishment and maintenance of network configuration backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Assist Senior Network Analyst with mentoring team members and ensuring that operations are performed on a timely basis.
• Collaborate with the college Information Security Team and Senior Network Analyst on security related initiatives and applications. Provide leadership and direction on security related initiatives and remediations. Guide the network team during security incidents and provide information to the response team.
• Thoroughness in assessing security controls and identifying vulnerabilities.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree
• Two (2) years of related experience
• Proficient in analyzing data, identifying patterns, making informed decisions and thinking 'outside the box.'
• Excellent organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision.
