Role Responsibilities
Job Description
Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting? Do you have a passion for live music? Are you excited about collaborating with a team to achieve shared objectives? If so, the Merchandise Operations Associate role could be the perfect fit for you.
Merchandise Operations Associates work under the guidance of the venue's Merchandise Manager. On show days, they arrive at the venue ready to engage. Merchandise from artists needs to be counted, organized, and showcased for sale.As the gates open, fans eagerly enter the venue to purchase their favorite items, and they turn to you for assistance.
You fulfill their requests swiftly and attentively, ensuring each fan leaves with a smile. After the event concludes, you assist in packing up the remaining merchandise.Once everything is reconciled and returned to the artist, you leave knowing you contributed to a successful event.
Key Responsibilities
Objectives of the Role
Deliver an outstanding merchandise purchasing experience for all guests and fans at Live Nation venues.
Process guest orders promptly, ensuring accuracy in items and sizes.
Efficiently handle sales transactions using Live Nation's sales system.
Act as a brand ambassador for Live Nation and its local partners.
Tasks & Duties
Participate in inventory management procedures.
Create visually appealing merchandise displays and ensure correct pricing.
Complete sales transactions for each guest.
Support effective sales operations at events.
Contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
Perform physical tasks as needed, such as moving equipment or transferring merchandise.
Follow directions from the Merchandise Manager.
Qualifications
Skills & Attributes
Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.
Quick-thinking and responsive to guest inquiries.
Guest-focused, prioritizing their needs.
Team-oriented, collaborating effectively with others.
Polite and engaging in guest interactions.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Basic math skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Experience
Prior guest service experience is preferred.
Retail experience is not mandatory.
Roles that emphasize customer service or hospitality are beneficial.
Attitude and interpersonal skills are more important than prior experience.
Job Requirements
Availability for the entire event day, with shifts potentially lasting up to 15 hours (including breaks).
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Capability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Familiarity with touch-screen systems is essential.
Must meet the legal working age requirements in the state.
