Education Assistant

{"About the Position": "We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher's Aide to join our team at The Children's Institute of Pittsburgh. As a key member of our educational staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students with exceptional needs.

Responsibilities include:

* Assisting students with instructional materials and equipment
* Helping the Teacher prepare for the school day
* Providing personal care and support for students as needed
* Performing feeding, lifting, positioning, and toileting duties for students as required
* Assisting students in all areas of The Day School as directed

Qualifications:

* High School diploma or equivalent
* One or more years of experience working with children
* Experience working with exceptional children in an educational setting is preferred
* Clearances: Act 73 FBI, Act 34 Criminal Clearance, Act 33 Child Abuse
* Current and valid CPR and First Aid certification preferred (will provide training)
