About the Role

Mead & Hunt, a leading professional services consulting firm, is seeking an entry-level water/wastewater engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for preparing engineering studies and reports, design documents, and construction documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare engineering studies and reports
  • Prepare design documents, design computations, quantity/cost estimates, and construction documents
  • Serve as a project representative during design and construction
  • Travel to project sites as required
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil, environmental, or related engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Familiarity with water and wastewater subjects, with experience in one or more of the following project types:
    • Water supply & treatment
    • Wastewater collection & treatment
    • Pumping, heat transfer, and other unit operations
    • Biosolids treatment and handling
    • Stormwater
  • Experience with hydraulic, heat transfer, or treatment software(s)
  • Ability to obtain EIT certification and then professional engineer registration
