Job Description:

We are seeking an IT Analyst to support our Navy customer's NMCI Ashore and Afloat Networks at the Point Mugu Naval Air Station in CA.

Responsibilities:
  • Submit MAC requests and initiate/validate service order requests.
  • Work with squadron ITPOC personnel to identify, resolve, and elevate any NMCI or procurement issues.
  • Lead gathering of information in response to DON/CPF/CNAP/TYPEWING data calls.
  • Assist with procurement of required hardware for squadrons.
  • Coordinate NMCI surge projects like hardware/software tech refreshes.
  • Aid the deployment process and support TYPEWING unique projects.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience working for the Department of Navy (DoN) supporting IT systems.
  • Project Management Experience.
  • Experience with Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CPF) Navy Marine Corp Intranet (NMCI) procurement process.
  • Experience with NMCI Enterprise Tools (NET).
  • Experience with Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CPF) Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) Navy Enterprise Networks (ONE-NET) procurement process.
  • Experience with Navy Information Technology Approval Systems (NAV-ITAS) process and procedures.
  • Experience with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Multi-Function Device (MFD) procurement and sustainment process and procedures.
  • Experience with IT Asset Management.
  • Knowledge of basic IT asset inoperability and connectivity degradation troubleshooting methods.
Security Clearance:

Active Secret Clearance.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, or an equivalent bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.

In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, may have one of the following certifications to comply with Department of Defense (DoD) M IAT Level II Baseline Certification requirements: CCNA Security, CySA, GICSP, GSEC, Security CE, SSCP.
