The High Intensity Care Unit (HICU) is designed to accommodate patients requiring specialized attention, including those with acute brain injuries, respiratory challenges, or those needing rehabilitation. This unit features 20 semi-private rooms, allowing for the care of up to 40 patients at a time.
Our dedicated team employs a collaborative approach to ensure comprehensive care for patients facing serious cardiac and complex medical conditions. Staff members are encouraged to utilize strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient needs, implement clinical nursing interventions, and develop tailored care plans aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe, age-appropriate care while serving as a resource and leader for the patient care team. The Charge Nurse II role requires consistent adherence to the standards and expectations outlined for RN II on the clinical ladder.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants should possess a formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years of college) and have at least 2 years of experience in a relevant clinical setting. A valid Maryland Registered Nurse License and American Heart Association BLS CPR certification are required.
