Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a GIS Assistant Project Manager who will collaborate effectively with both internal and external teams to deliver tailored solutions and implement enterprise GIS strategies. The role encompasses managing various project deliverables within the GIS department.

The ideal candidate will ensure quality assurance and successful project execution. Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with internal teams (GIS, Engineering, Construction, IT) to develop and enhance GIS solutions.
  • Managing project timelines and facilitating project meetings to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Supporting the lead Project Manager in the GIS group by gathering end-user requirements and planning the rollout of GIS solutions.

Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will possess:

  • A strong foundation in GIS, whether from a development or end-user perspective.
  • Experience in leading teams and acting as a product or process owner.
  • Relevant experience in Natural Gas Pipeline or other utility sectors, including roadway, water pipelines, and fiber construction projects.
  • Data analytics, project controls, or scheduling experience is highly desirable.
