About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team, providing high-quality care to patients in their homes. As an Occupational Therapist with Amedisys, you will be responsible for all aspects of occupational therapy service delivery, ensuring the safety and effectiveness of our services.

You will assess patient needs, develop personalized plans of care, and implement therapies to improve their functional abilities. Your expertise and compassion will make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A current license to practice occupational therapy specific to the state where you will be working;
  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program;
  • Eligibility to take or successful completion of the entry-level certification examination for occupational therapists;
  • One year of related occupational therapy experience, ensuring knowledge and skills to safely provide occupational therapy services.

We also require current CPR certification and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
