Senior Data Architect

Stealth is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect to design, develop, and implement data architecture solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data architectures using various technologies such as databases (SQL/NoSQL), big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark), cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), ETL tools, etc.
  • Develop data models, schemas, and metadata management strategies to ensure data consistency across the organization.
  • Design and implement data integration solutions that connect various systems and applications within the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices in data governance, security, privacy, and quality.
  • Lead a team of data architects, developers, and engineers to deliver high-quality data architecture projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in data management technologies and best practices.
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams (e.g., infrastructure, security) to ensure seamless integration of data architecture solutions into the overall technology landscape.
  • Understand Data Governance including the overall management of the organizations data including policies.
  • Cybersecurity critical to identification of potential threats, understanding attack patterns, detecting intrusions, and responding to incidents.
  • Understanding of Data Platforms refers to knowledge about various technologies and tools used for storing, processing, analyzing, and managing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience.
  • Salary range: $95-120K.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data governance, security, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of data platforms, including Hadoop, Spark, and cloud services.
  • Strong understanding of data integration and ETL tools.
  • Ability to lead a team and provide technical guidance.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
