Job Summary

The Allure Group is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Harlem, NY.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at The Allure Group, you would be part of a winning team doing meaningful work to improve residents' quality of life, health, and comfort.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all residents are comfortable and receive the highest standard of care.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including food service, personal care, bowel and bladder functions, and more.
  • Measure and record vitals routinely to monitor residents' health.
  • Observe and report the well-being of residents to ensure their needs are met.
  • Provide assistance with Range of Motion exercises and ambulation to promote residents' mobility and independence.
  • Establish healthy communication with nursing personnel and other department personnel to ensure seamless care.
  • Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed to promote residents' recovery and well-being.
  • Assist with the lifting, moving, positioning, and transporting of residents with care and compassion.
  • Check, review, and abide by resident care plans to ensure residents receive individualized care.
  • Follow work assignments and schedules in completing tasks to ensure efficient care delivery.
  • Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positivity to promote residents' emotional well-being.
  • Remain prepared to do any services and assignments within the scope of practice of a CNA to ensure residents receive comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Valid NYS Certified Nursing Assistant license or Patient Care Technician license.
  • Exceptional communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in long-term care.
  • Previous experience with Point Click Care.
