Job Title: Project Controls Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Controls Manager to join our team at NTI Connect. As a key member of our infrastructure services team, you will be responsible for handling planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and reporting for data center, fiber optics, and telecommunication projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project controls plans and procedures to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Implement and maintain project schedules with resource loading and critical path analysis to maximize efficiency.
  • Manage budgets, track costs, prepare financial forecasts, and develop cost management strategies to minimize expenses.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and opportunities to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Provide accurate and timely progress updates, cost reports, and risk registers to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide a team of project controls professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, finance, designers, and engineers to achieve project objectives.
  • Draft and improve project management processes and become an SME on company software.
  • Oversight of cost controls, change management, risk management, earned value, and scheduling efforts.
  • Evaluation of project health and maintenance of communication with leadership.
  • Interdisciplinary coordination with engineering, construction, and procurement teams.
  • Audit and review of cost, progress, and schedule reports.
  • Establishment of milestones and monitoring of progress, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Definition of acceptance criteria, ensuring deliverables meet expectations, and facilitating signoff.
  • Leadership of project closeout reviews and sharing of lessons learned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field (PMP preferred).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and tools.
  • Analytical and strategic with a hands-on leadership style.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience in NetSuite preferred.
  • Ability to lead and communicate effectively across all levels.

Estimated Salary:$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
