Artisan Pastry Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Artisan Pastry Specialist to join our team at Paris Baguette. As a key member of our bakery, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality pastries, cakes, and desserts that exceed our customers' expectations.

This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $18.50 - $20.50 per hour. The expected hours of work are 35-60 per week, with flexibility in scheduling to accommodate our busy periods.

• Fry donuts, place toppings, and decorate pastries and bread as needed
• Carry out operations and productions in the kitchen, including baking recipes and preparing all desserts
• Maintain general oven duties, checking dough conditioner and ensuring workplace safety and hygiene
• Prepare all necessary materials and ingredients, and prioritize tasks assigned for daily baking

• Knowledge of food producing process, sanitization, quality programs, and food safety practices
• Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and communicate effectively in a team environment
• Emotional intelligence, empathy, and self-motivation to work with diverse teams
• Familiarity with confectionery/foods major or equivalent experience
• Able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate (preferred)
