Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Mundt, a leading OEM manufacturer of custom laser workstations. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for producing precision parts using manual and automated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate manual machines, including manual lathes and milling machines.
  • Measure parts according to prints and work instructions.
  • Operate manual and automatic surface grinders.
  • Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, making offsets according to machining conditions.
  • Inspect work for proper dimensions and visual defects.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in using manual, semi-automated, or automated tools and machines.
  • Programming skills are a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to use precision tools, such as calipers, to take accurate measurements.
  • Knowledge of metal and other material properties.
