DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in supporting the nursing process, operating under the guidance of the Medical Director, Nurse Practitioner, and/or Professional Registered Nurse. The LPN is expected to comply with the policies and procedures established by Berkshire Health Systems clinical services. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.) Experience: Must be a graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
Possesses a comprehensive understanding of nursing principles and practices.
Proficient in managing multiple phone lines and demonstrates exceptional clerical and organizational abilities.
Experience in a physician's office setting is preferred. Education and Training: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program. License, Certification & Registration: Must hold a current Practical Nurse license in Massachusetts.
CPR certification is mandatory. Other Requirements: Engages in ongoing education as per State regulations.

Proficiency in data entry is preferred.
Familiarity with Windows and PC applications is essential.
Ability to work autonomously while also taking direction.
Self-driven with the capacity to be flexible within a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Must demonstrate the ability to manage confidential and sensitive information responsibly.
