Role Overview

This position involves performing advanced imaging procedures using computed tomography and X-ray equipment while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.


Responsibilities
  • Conduct CT and X-ray procedures at a technical level, ensuring adherence to departmental procedures.
  • Obtain patient history, explain standard procedures, and address patient concerns in a compassionate manner.
  • Produce high-quality computerized tomographic and conventional radiographs as required.
  • Perform duties directly involved with various technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for detecting pathology.
  • Operate equipment safely and maintain SimonMed standards during procedures.

Requirements
  • A registration as a Radiologic Technologist by the A.R.R.T.
  • Registration as a Certified Radiologic Technologist by the State.
  • Valid hands-on CPR certification.
