Job Overview:
Friendship Community Care seeks a dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will deliver exceptional care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a safe and healthy environment.

About the Role:
This is a full-time position requiring a valid Arkansas driver's license. The successful candidate will assist clients with daily living skills, transportation, and recreational activities. You will maintain accurate records and documentation while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with basic living skills, including personal care, housekeeping, and meal planning
- Provide transportation to appointments and activities as needed
- Maintain good communication with staff and clients regarding client needs and progress
- Accurately complete all required documentation, including incident reports and medication management guidelines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; two+ years experience working with developmentally disabled individuals preferred
- Valid Arkansas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly

Salary:
$12.45 per hour

Work Environment:
The work environment is typically moderate, with occasional exposure to noise and stress. Must be able to pass background checks/drug screens and maintain a clean driving record.
