Key Responsibilities of the Material Logistics Specialist:

  • Operate a sit-down forklift to transport and manage materials
  • Safely and effectively handle materials that are received, stored, and dispatched
  • Ensure workstations are adequately supplied with necessary production materials
  • Utilize material handling equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks
  • Adhere to and promote company policies regarding safety, cleanliness, and quality
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Consistent attendance is essential
  • Experience operating sit-down forklifts
  • Previous forklift certification or the ability to pass the company’s forklift assessment
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to pass tests related to print reading, measurement, and conversion

Work Environment:
The role involves moderate risks or discomforts that necessitate special safety measures, such as working near moving machinery or handling potentially hazardous materials. Personal protective equipment may be required.

Physical Requirements:
The position demands physical stamina, including the ability to remain stationary for extended periods, navigate various workspaces, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds, with or without assistance.
