Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

As a RN at the Good Samaritan Society, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing care to residents with a range of needs and conditions.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our team, providing care and support to residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate residents' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans, ensuring that residents receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support and comfort.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to other healthcare team members, ensuring that residents receive the care and support they need.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program, preferred.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing, where the practice of nursing is occurring, and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
