">We are seeking a highly qualified Tenure-Track Professor in Family and Consumer Sciences to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses, advising students, supervising research and field experiences, and participating in curriculum development activities.
">Responsibilities

- Teaching: Teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Family and Consumer Sciences, including interdisciplinary concepts and applications.">
- Student Advising: Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in their academic and professional pursuits.">
- Research and Field Experiences: Supervise undergraduate and graduate student research and field experiences, fostering hands-on learning and real-world application.">
- Curriculum Development: Participate in ongoing curriculum development activities, including developing new courses and enhancing existing ones.">
- Scholarly Activities: Engage in scholarly activities, such as grantsmanship and research, to advance knowledge in the field.">
- Community Engagement: Develop and maintain linkages with agencies, businesses, and individuals in the surrounding community, promoting service-learning and internship opportunities.">

- Educational Background: Earned doctorate in Family and Consumer Sciences or a closely related area, such as Family Studies and Human Development.">
- Teaching Experience: Experience teaching college-level courses and working with college-level students.">

- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, including written communication and interpersonal skills.">
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.">
