Uniti Med is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team as a Travel MRI Technologist in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Job Summary

This is a 13-week contract position, working 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour night shift schedule. As a Travel MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for scans, and maintaining a safe and efficient imaging environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients correctly
  • Maintain a clean and organized imaging environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training
Requirements
  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT, MRI)
  • Experience working in a diagnostic imaging environment, preferably with MRI equipment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on patient-centered care
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
