Position Summary:
- Support the operations and initiatives of the Supplier Quality Management Steering Team (SQM-ST).
- Aid in the administration of workflows for the SQM Steering Team and assist various plants/regions in executing their SQM operational processes.
- Contribute to the enhancement of the SQM Tool by gathering insights from Regional Business Units (RBUs) and the SQM Steering Team.
- Assist in the creation of training materials and development sessions for RBU personnel regarding the SQM Tool and its processes as required.
- Foster relationships and establish communication channels with key stakeholders within supplier organizations.
- Organize and facilitate review sessions with essential supplier leadership teams as necessary.
- Design and implement a supplier scorecard evaluation framework in collaboration with the SQM Steering Team.
- Engage in client evaluations across all segments.
- Provide constructive feedback on significant suppliers to the Procurement and GFA management teams.
- Support the resolution of critical asset or equipment failures from key suppliers through a systematic approach and contribute to the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process.
- Assist in the maintenance and updates of the LG Critical Vendor List.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a supplier-facing engineering or procurement capacity.
- Proficient in utilizing IT applications such as SAP, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Tableau, MS SharePoint, MS Flow, and MS Power Query/PowerPivot.
- Experience in supply chain risk assessment or due diligence is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, collaborative mindset, self-motivated, and culturally aware.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
