Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Endoscopy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in endoscopy procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians with endoscopy procedures, including EGD, colonoscopy, and ERCP
  • Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment and supplies
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and department efficiency
Requirements:
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Ability to pass a Sim Lab on day 1 of orientation
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment:

This position is located at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, a state-of-the-art hospital with a high-volume GI/Endo department. The unit is equipped with 2 procedure rooms and 8 pre-op/admitting and recovery bays.
