We're seeking a highly skilled Roadway Engineer to join our growing Transportation group based out of our Corpus Christi, TX location. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering transportation projects that contribute to the growth and safety of Texas roadways.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop roadway design projects for Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E) and Schematics
  • Collaborate with design staff, consultants, and clients to deliver projects that meet business needs
  • Manage workload of design staff, including Engineers, EITs, and technical staff
  • Assist in business development activities, including project scopes, budgets, and schedules
  • Review transportation designs and detailed plans for accuracy and consistency
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas or willingness to obtain license within six months
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in TxDOT Roadway / Transportation PS&E and/or Schematic Design project delivery
  • MicroStation CADD and Geopak experience, OpenRoads experience desirable
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and decision-making skills
  • Commitment to quality
  • Positive attitude, self-directed, and a team player with a focus on quality, integrity, and success
