As an OB/GYN physician at AltaMed, you will have the opportunity to practice in a clinic and surgical setting, focusing on improving patients' quality of life through comprehensive care. Our team-based care model ensures that all members of the clinic team are practicing at their highest scope of practice, allowing you to work collaboratively with our dedicated women's health support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Obstetrics and Gynecology medical care to patients
- Deliver care and services aligned with AltaMed's Team-Based Care Model
- Participate as an active member of the AltaMed Provider group
- Responsible for a clinic panel, including health outcomes, patient experience, and overall patient care
Requirements:
- Experience and training as a physician, having successfully completed a US accredited medical school degree and a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology or its equivalent
- Active unrestrictive CA license to practice medicine by the Medical Board of California
- Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or Board Eligible Physician Obstetrics/Gynecology
- Previous experience with computer-based systems required; Electronic Medical records experience preferred
- Current Valid BLS Certification
