Roadway Striping Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pavement Marking Technician to join our team at RoadSafe Traffic Systems. As a Pavement Marking Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation of pavement markings and traffic control devices.

• Implement pavement marking installation, removal, and traffic control devices according to NCDOT Standards.
• Perform general labor tasks, including loading, securing, and unloading work trucks, and setting up/taking down road signs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
• Operate hand equipment, such as blowers and grinders, and prepare striping equipment for use.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations, and wear proper safety equipment at all times.
• Complete daily required paperwork and adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Active driver's license with a good driving record; CDL's a plus, but not required.
• Pass a drug screen, DOT Physical, and criminal background check.
• Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
• Excellent attendance and a good work ethic are required.

As a Pavement Marking Technician, you will be regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, moving equipment and machinery parts, moving traffic, and fumes and airborne particles. You will also be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch.
