We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at ProMedica. As a staff LPN, you will be responsible for providing direct care to residents and supervising nursing personnel to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and coordinate care delivery to ensure resident needs are met.
- Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support.
- Conduct regular assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and communicate effectively with family members and other stakeholders.
- 2-3 years of clinical experience in gerontological nursing, including experience working with dementia populations.
- Valid and current LPN/LVN state license.
- Ability to read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods.
- Ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 20 pounds, unassisted.
