Role Responsibilities:
This position plays a vital role within our Quality team, focusing on Quality Engineering and Continuous Improvement initiatives pertaining to external clients, internal operations, and suppliers.

  • Examine reports and production metrics to detect patterns in finished product evaluations and suggest corrective measures.
  • Gather data to formulate quarterly performance scorecards for presentation to senior management.
  • Develop, assess, and refine technical quality assurance methods and protocols.
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
  • Assist in product/process assessments, audits, and compliance with customer-specific criteria.
  • Adhere to established manufacturing inspection, sampling, and statistical process control protocols.
  • Conduct internal audits to maintain compliance with international standards and regulations.
  • Facilitate and lead cross-functional Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and problem-solving sessions.
  • Support compliance with ISO9001 and AS9100 standards.
  • Interpret and review repair and overhaul manuals and engineering schematics.
  • Analyze and interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Establish, modify, and create SAP inspection plans.
  • Draft, review, and manage procedures and work instructions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Up to 1 year of experience in Repair & Overhaul / OEM Manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 and AS9100 D Auditing.
  • Basic understanding of ERP / SAP systems.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual obligations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Quality Engineering within the Aerospace sector.
  • Knowledge of R&O Analytical, Preliminary Review Board, Airworthiness Review Board, and Hardware Review Committee processes.
  • Proficiency with Tableau and SAP in an analytical context.
  • Understanding of Parts Per Million, Quality Escapes, and trend analysis.
  • Prior auditing experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Competence in PowerPoint and Excel, including pivot tables and formulas.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with executives, engineers, supervisors, and operators.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, interpreting and applying established standards.
  • Familiarity with Net-Inspect, Teamcenter, Aerospace Supplier Portal (HASP), Supplemental Purchase Order Conditions Manual (SPOC), and HOS.
  • Experience and certification in Lean – Six Sigma methodologies.
