Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using nuclear medicine and/or nuclear cardiology techniques.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state, and federal guidelines.
- Ensure adherence to A.L.A.R.A. programs and radiation safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nuclear medicine and radiation safety.
- Graduate of a nuclear medicine program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- Registered nuclear technologist with either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (Nuclear) ARRT (N) or the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB-CNMT).
- BLS certification.
- Thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
