Job Summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using nuclear medicine and/or nuclear cardiology techniques.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Conduct quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Ensure adherence to A.L.A.R.A. programs and radiation safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nuclear medicine and radiation safety.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of a nuclear medicine program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Registered nuclear technologist with either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (Nuclear) ARRT (N) or the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB-CNMT).
  • BLS certification.
Additional Requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
