Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Floral Manager to join our team at Brookshire Grocery Company. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements, promoting sales, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Floral Design and Sales: Utilize your unique design aesthetic and signature style to create stunning floral arrangements that appeal to a variety of customers.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory using item management processes to ensure satisfactory in-stock levels and maintain department profitability.
  • Customer Service: Provide consultations to customers regarding price and type of floral arrangements desired, and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and train partners, and maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary working environment.
  • Financial Management: Review profit and loss, sales, shrink, and labor data, and provide verbal or written summary to upper management regarding any related issues.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Two or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of floral department operations, strong knowledge of flowers, handling, and design techniques, and intermediate knowledge of budget planning and financial statements.
Work Environment:

Work is generally performed in a retail store environment, with occasional exposure to extreme cold conditions, wet, slippery, or damp conditions, and outside temperatures and weather.
