We are looking for a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to join our team and ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient patient care.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
- This is a PRN role primarily for weekend coverage and to assist during holidays or vacations.
As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will conduct and assist with high-quality diagnostic, neuro, and vascular ultrasound examinations, prioritizing patient care and education.
You will contribute to departmental objectives and actively promote our Excellence Always principles, including service recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute high-quality ultrasound procedures.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Provide patient-centered care in accordance with Excellence Always standards, including patient transport as needed to optimize care flow.
- Educate patients and their families.
Qualifications:
- Graduate or certificate from an accredited Sonography program.
- ARDMS Ultrasonographer or ARRT RT certification required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Ultrasonographer, with a focus on vascular sonography or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) credentials.
- Minimum of one year of ultrasound experience, including vascular, OB, abdomen, neuro, and/or trauma cases.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
