Practice Overview:
We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to enhance our team of two Interventional Cardiologists and one Cardiothoracic Surgeon, with a primary focus on Cardiothoracic cases and one vascular surgery specialist.

Department Highlights:

  • Minimally Invasive Techniques: Whenever feasible, our surgical team employs video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS). This innovative approach allows for lung surgery through several small incisions, promoting quicker recovery, reduced pain, and a lower risk of infection and scarring.
  • Collaborative Care: Our dedicated team of professionals collaborates to deliver the most effective treatment tailored to your unique health requirements. Our nursing staff provides unwavering support to patients and their families throughout the treatment and recovery journey.
  • Post-Surgery Rehabilitation: After surgery, patients can engage in a pulmonary rehabilitation program designed to strengthen lung function and facilitate a return to a more active lifestyle.

Types of Lung and Chest Surgeries:
Our surgical team excels in a diverse range of thoracic surgeries, including:
  • Lung Biopsies: Extraction of lung tissue samples for analysis of abnormal cells.
  • Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS): Utilization of a thoracoscope to guide surgical instruments through small incisions in the chest.
  • Lobectomy: Removal of affected lung sections.
  • Mediastinal Mass Removal: Surgical excision of both cancerous and non-cancerous tumors located in the mediastinum.
  • Lung Metastasis Resection: Surgical removal of cancerous lung tumors.
  • Pneumonectomy: Complete removal of a diseased lung.
