Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to work with a school district near Marysville, WA.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide essential therapeutic services to students in need. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and experience working with children in school or educational settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' needs and develop tailored therapy plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom setting.
  • Deliver direct therapy services focused on motor skills, sensory integration, and adaptive techniques.
  • Develop and lead training sessions for educators and parents on strategies to support students with various needs.
  • Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attend related meetings.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Washington.
  • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is preferred.
  • Experience working with children in school or educational settings is highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of child development, special education, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
