About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professional to join our team as an HSE Manager. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive HSE programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
  • Provide training and education to employees on HSE-related topics, including safety procedures, emergency response, and environmental awareness.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure HSE-related federal, state, and local laws, regulations, rules, and codes are met.
  • Investigate and report incidents and injuries, and develop recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
  • Manage and maintain HSE-related records, reports, and documentation.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct regular drills and training exercises.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry best practices, and provide guidance to employees on HSE-related matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as occupational safety and health, environmental science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HSE management, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective HSE programs.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and DOT.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
