Housekeeping Inspector

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Inspector to join our team at HHM Hotels. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our hotel rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of hotel rooms to ensure that they are clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked with amenities.
• Train and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure that they are performing their duties to the highest standard.
• Inventory and manage supplies to ensure that they are adequate and readily available.
• Issue equipment and supplies to housekeeping staff as needed.
• Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary.
• Confer with staff to resolve performance and personnel issues.
• Oversee the training of Room Attendants and Laundry employees, if applicable.
• Screen job applicants and hire new employees.
• Schedule employee work hours.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM's EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

Work Environment and Context

• Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends.
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, reaching, kneeling, bending.
