Position Overview: As a Barista at The Grind Café, located within The Bunker, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of espresso beverages, preparing light meals such as sandwiches, and serving alcoholic beverages to our patrons. Your role will also include operating the cash register and maintaining cleanliness throughout the café. Additionally, you will manage inventory, assist with ordering supplies, and ensure that all items are restocked as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding guest service to both internal and external customers, emphasizing product knowledge, quality, and freshness.
  • Prepare a diverse range of espresso drinks.
  • Assemble sandwiches, salads, and other food offerings.
  • Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, including all appliances and surfaces.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate orders with the kitchen.
  • Effectively navigate point-of-sale systems.
  • Address any inquiries from guests, including information about Woodward Tahoe's seasonal programs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
