About Our Dental Practice:
River Run Dental Spa is a leading provider of comprehensive dental care services in Colonial Heights, VA. Our team of skilled dentists and hygienists work together to deliver exceptional patient care and maintain a high level of oral health for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform licensed hygiene procedures, including exposing and evaluating diagnostic x-rays, taking and recording blood pressure, and conducting adult and child prophylaxis.
- Manage the nonsurgical periodontal program as directed by the dentist, and educate patients on oral hygiene, health, and disease.
- Verify and document patient health history, and determine needs for sealant placement, Arestin, and fluoride treatments.
- Co-assess possible restorative treatments with the doctor, and maintain continued patient care relationships.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Dental hygiene certification from an accredited dental hygiene school.
- Current hygiene license where employed.
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control training as required by law.
- Experience with dental software.
