Salary: $26.00 per hour
Overview:
The Certified Medical Assistant will undertake both clinical and administrative responsibilities to support the efficient operation of the clinic.
Key responsibilities include standard patient intake procedures, administering immunizations, injections, and medications as prescribed by healthcare providers, as well as conducting laboratory specimen collection when necessary.
Depending on the specialty and clinic location, the Medical Assistant may also:
- Provide telephonic support to patients
- Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers
- Assist with medication refills
- Perform x-ray duties if certified
- Conduct phlebotomy tasks
- Execute clinic laboratory tests

Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program (ABHES or CAAHEP) - Required
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) - Required
- Participation in a registration program from a recognized national health services organization, with successful completion of the credentialing exam (e.g., CMA or RMA) - Required
- Medical Assistant certification - Required
- Prior experience in a clinical environment - Required
