Position Overview:

The Licensed Therapist PRN is an integral member of the multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering direct clinical services to patients and their families. This role emphasizes conducting comprehensive Psychosocial Assessments, offering individual, group, and family therapy, and facilitating psycho-educational training and family meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform psychosocial assessments and develop initial discharge plans.
  • Create and implement tailored treatment plans based on assessments, coordinating additional services as needed.
  • Conduct individual, group, or family therapy sessions as per the treatment plan.
  • Utilize psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions to address diagnosed emotional and behavioral disorders.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings, presenting relevant patient information and recommending effective interventions.
  • Manage an assigned caseload effectively.
  • Design and implement specialized patient groups or program modules.
  • Prepare timely progress notes and treatment updates, ensuring compliance with clinical documentation standards.
  • Ensure each patient has a structured and clinically appropriate post-hospitalization care plan, acting as a liaison to referral sources.
  • Provide crisis intervention to patients and families experiencing acute distress.
  • Facilitate access to a wide range of community resources, including financial, housing, legal, social, recreational, occupational, spiritual, and support groups.
  • May perform case management and aftercare planning as required.
  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology is mandatory.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a therapist working with diverse age groups is required.
