Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including tasks such as filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and labeling.
  • Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information, checking for potential interactions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including restocking shelves, cleaning equipment, and disposing of waste.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Pharmacy Technician certification or registration required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling.
